Wedderburn Project (Victoria)
This exploration licence covers the Wedderburn area and is extensive covering nearly 100 kms and allows a field wide approach to exploration and mining.
There are eight historic gold mines on this exploration licence and modern exploration data suggests mineralized faults could be repeated at depth.
Under our licence we will perform modelling and drilling programs to define underground and possibly open pit targets.
A Geological Model for gold controls is well developed and we plan deeper drilling at target repetitions at depth to identify significant resources.
The Wedderburn area is well know for its gold bearing quality hosting, the Minelab gold detecting convention and recent finds of very large gold nuggets. The area hosts many historic gold mines and Wedderburn was part of what was considered one of the largest gold fields in the world at one stage.
This area was held by Bendigo Mining for many years but has recently been purchased by Lithium Gold Mines Australia with the area lacking any modern exploration techniques.
Especially below 200 metres we are very confident with our modern technology combined with an expansive exploration program, geological modelling and imagery it will potentially yield significant targets. The key of course being depth levels to which have not been explored previously.
We will also be testing for rare earths and other minerals that are usually found with these targets.
